The CHI 2013 Workshop ‘Designing Gamification‘ will take place in Paris this year on the 28th of April. The organising committee has recently posted the pdf documents of the presentations and papers.
You can find interesting proposals and applications of gamification, in very different contexts (healthcare, sports, work environments, etc.). Each contribution is also trying to provide a deeper understanding of what is at stake with gamification, and what are we learning from the emergence of this design practice. The workshop itself is organised by the Gamification Research Network, which aims to bring together scholars and designers interested in this topic, providing papers and cases of study.
