Yesterday, Thursday 15th, a special meeting of the UK chapter of the Digital Games Research Association (DiGRA) has taken place in London. Paolo Ruffino, research associate at the Gamification Lab, joined the meeting and contributed to the discussion. Most of the meeting has been about the next DiGRA international conference, to be hosted by the very Gamification Lab at Leuphana University on May 14-17th 2015. Participants discussed their papers and abstracts proposals, and helped each other with comments and suggestions on how to improve the submissions. It has been a very prolific meeting, that has gathered about 15 researchers and lecturers from all over the UK. The hosting institution has been the London Knowledge Lab, a centre within the Institute of Education at UCL, and the event has been promoted and organised by Diane Carr, Senior lecturer at the same institution.
